Our customer in the Energy sector is looking for a Business Analyst to support his internal applications with several modules.
The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our internal applications. The Business Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of new features and functionalities. Additionally, the Business Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the application on an ongoing basis, including regular monitoring of queries, managing user access, providing induction and support to users, and reporting to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement
- Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Design and develop solutions to meet business needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of new features and functionalities
- Conduct user acceptance testing and provide training to end-users
- Monitor and analyze system performance and provide recommendations for optimization
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Regularly monitor queries to ensure correct tagging, signatories, and disciplines
- Reassign queries as needed due to vacations or incorrect discipline selection
- Follow up with disciplines/companies when response times are too long
- Maintain and create user access for vendors and company personnel
- Provide induction to vendors, clients, and disciplines on how to use the tool
- Provide ongoing support and training to users
- Modify signature chains as needed due to personnel changes
- Report to management on application performance and usage

Nice to have:
• Experience on Oil & Gas industry
• Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
Work experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role
